UK: Foie gras protesters attack top restaurant19 February 2008Cambridge restaurant Midsummer House was sprayed with graffiti by animal rights protesters opposed to it serving foie gras. "Stop Selling Foie Gras" and "Ban Foie Gras" were among slogans spray-painted on the Michelin-starred restaurant. Door locks were glued, glass-etching fluid was used to damage the windows and paint stripper used on window frames and the front door. Staff spent most of Sunday removing the graffiti....
