EU and US in joint battle against obesity

Addressing the obesity problem is one of the main issues on the agenda in a two day conference being held in Brussels between the European Union and the United States.

"Europe's obesity crisis is every bit as severe as that of North America, with devastating public health and economic costs," said EU health commissioner Markos Kyprianou on the first day........
