Australia: Shippings of shame resume17 August 2011Since Indonesia is the single biggest trading partner for live cattle, it was to be expected that the export ban would not last long - cruelty or not. After all, during the last fiscal year 520,000 doomed animals (60% of total exports) have been dragged to Indonesia. This is big business! So now profit margins of the industry will again be jumping, while the hearts of all people with compassion witnessing the gruesome trade in sentient, living beings are sinking.
