Teachers from across Europe gather to develop interactive teaching aid on animal welfare

1 octobre 2012

Teachers from across the Europe will meet in Brussels on 15 October to test a toolbox on animal welfare and ethical consumerism developed by the European Commission as a primary school teaching aid.

"Farmland" is an interactive educational web tool featuring an online game and information on animal farming. It targets children aged 8 to 12 to help them make more informed consumer choices as adults.

The Farmland toolbox will be free to download in all EU languages from the Farmland website in 2013.
