The numbers of destroyed pets in different countries are absolutely mind-boggling.

The Sunday Mirror informed that 250.000 dogs and cats are gassed in Japan each year.

As horrible as that already is - what about the estimated number of cats and dogs euthanized by US shelters annually: 3-4 million (HSUS), some estimates are even much higher !

The procedure of putting these innocent animals to death can take up to 30 minutes! In Ukraine the poor creatures are even burnt alive in mobile incinerators!

Dogs and cats are, and always have been, our friends. What are we doing to them?
