India/Rajasthan: The never-ending saga of Salman Khan and dead Black Bucks

Update 9 August 2011: Hearing in Salman appeal from today

-----------------------------------

21 July 2011

Because Salman Khan had allegedly killed two black bucks in September 1998, the court of the chief judicial magistrate sentenced him to one-year imprisonment in February 2006.

Salman Khan appealed. And so the story went on and on and on...

Even though a new court session will be held on 9 August, the Bishnois, fiery and determined protectors of black bucks, may have to remain patient.
