India/Rajasthan: The never-ending saga of Salman Khan and dead Black BucksUpdate 9 August 2011: Hearing in Salman appeal from today----------------------------------- 21 July 2011 Because Salman Khan had allegedly killed two black bucks in September 1998, the court of the chief judicial magistrate sentenced him to one-year imprisonment in February 2006. Salman Khan appealed. And so the story went on and on and on... Even though a new court session will be held on 9 August, the Bishnois, fiery and determined protectors of black bucks, may have to remain patient.
