Invitation to join the International Vegetarian Week Campaign

Information: EVANA, promoting the idea of a Vegetarian Week

The Vegetarian Week is just two months away. Therefore, it is now time to start working on your campaigns for the beginning of October.

24 organisations from many different countries have already joined this international effort.

Important names, such as Dr. Rajenda Pachauri, Nobel prize winner, and Dr. Jean Ziegler, Vice-president of the Advisory Committee of the United Nations Human Rights Council, can be found on the list of supporters of the IVW.

Your organisation is also most welcome to join this campaign. No matter how big or small your involvement, it all helps to promote vegetarianism and highlighting its many benefits.

Where to start?

1) See some ideas in the Call for Action:

2) Prepare your own material, possibly using some of the resources available on the website.

3) Inform us of your plans. A short summary of the actions planned will be published on the Vegetarian Week website.
