Mauritius: Biosphere Trading Ltd offers to exports thousands of monkeys to US labs

The monkeys would be captured in the wild and raised in captivity until ready for export.

The private company based in Vacoas proposes to build 48 cages for a colony of approximately 1 536 monkeys.

The official authorisation for this project is pending...
