UK: Animal protests have kept firms out of UK, says Glaxo chief

Jean-Pierre Garnier, GSK's chief executive, warmly praised the courage of Tony Blair, who again on Tuesday night promised to do "everything possible" to thwart extremists.

GSK has its own animal testing laboratories and also uses Huntingdon Life Sciences, which has been the focus of protests by animal rights groups.....
