Snake meat - a dangerous bite:

Shigella, Escherichia coli, Yersinia enterolitica, Campylobacter, Clostridium, Staphylococcus aureus for free!

31 August 2011

In some cultures even snakes don't escape the slaughter routine but the 'feast' may bring dangerous parasites and other infections that can be transmitted to humans.

Some also drink the blood of snakes, preferably cobras. The blood is drained while the animal is still alive, if at all possible.
