Influenza A (H1N1) vaccines available - are they safe?

Amid fears of a second wave of the potentially deadly virus, the European Commission on 29 September gave a fast track go-ahead to two new vaccines to fight the influenza H1N1 pandemic. This would ensure people get vaccines before the start of the flu season.

But are the new vaccines safe? Members of Parliament's Environment Committee discussed the issue yesterday....
