France: 12 year old shot in the head by hunter30 Jan 2012During a hiking excursion in Mesnières-en-Bray (Seine-Maritime) on 22 January, a boy was shot in the temple by an 82 year-old hunter. The man was taken into custody. In France the hunting season 2011-2012 has so far claimed 43 human lives. *)
