Animal rights activists angered by Tanzania group demanding monkey meat for census25 August 2012African animal rights activists have called on the Tanzania government to not give in to demands to deliver monkey meat to the Hadza ethnic community in the northern part of the country as a pre-condition to their taking part in a national census to begin on Sunday.... ------------ More information: ...the Kindiga or Hezabi [Hadza] speak a 'click' i.e. a Bushman-type language(...) wild animals are pursued by plenty of people eager for bush meat, or to hunt for 'sport' and even for export as live animals. Wildlife is heavily utilized here, legally and mostly illegally, and in any case, not in any sustainable way.
