They are squashed into cages like factory chickens, unable to stand, sit, turn. They are not given water in 100 degree heat. They are former family pets intentionally being tortured prior to being killed for food. Why torture? Because the dog meat dealers have fabricated reasons to eat dog meat with the myths that the excretion of hormones during bodily duress makes the meat more tender, and that eating dog meat helps people better cope with the summer heat and that it is an aphrodisiac. . . . . . .with no medical evidence in support of any of these fabrications
