Animal Welfare Board of India stipulates a 'BAN on the SLAUGHTER OF COWS'

CONSTITUTION OF INDIA Article 51-A(g) " It shall be the fundamental duty of every citizen of India to protect and improve the Natural Environment including forests, lakes, rivers and wildlife, and to have compassion for all living creatures."

In order to ensure COW PROTECTION and to impose a total BAN on the SLAUGHTER OF COWS and COW PROGENY, Government will take suitable measures".
