Summary: It is reasonably obvious that high density factory farming in unsanitary feedlots is conducive to the spread of animal diseases. But when avian flu pops up around the world it is customary to blame a particular migrant bird for the spread, and not the transportation of live (or dead) animals around the globe for the sake of corporate profits. So pity the poor geese and cormorants, and let’s get tough on the corporate run poultry death camps which are incubating the next pandemic flu...
